It was really great to see Brittany again, and she hasn't changed hardly at all. She lives in this great old house that was built in the 1860s, I believe, so it has a lot of character and cool decorations (most of which were added during remodeling). I met a lot of new people, we played Wii Sports most of the night, and had a good time. We're going to try to get together for coffee or something sometime to catch up.
We spent most of this morning cleaning the apartment, as the living room and most definitely the kitchen have been neglected for the last month, since we got Odin. Not that he hampers us from cleaning, it's just that we haven't. Also, we've been busy going out and doing stuff on our weekends off, since this is the first month we've gotten weekends off together since we've known each other.
I'm thinking that in the next couple of weeks, I'll have to go out to Fargo to see Jill, or Wisconsin to see Katie, as they both live about four hours away from me now. Jill said she is coming down on the 3rd of March, so maybe if she's still around when I get off work, we can grab dinner. Plus, I'll get to meet her new boyfriend (since he'll be coming to the cities with her).
I got some pictures of the lunar eclipse that was on Wednesday the 20th, so I'll put some of the better ones up. I've never really taken pictures at night, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Plus, I didn't use a tripod because I took most of the pictures out of the bedroom window (which is why you will see 2 moons in some pictures. The bright one is the real moon, and the sharp one is the reflection), and also took pictures outside when we were getting ready to go get something for dinner.

Odin was my nap buddy this afternoon as I zonked out on the couch. He zonked out on the ottoman, sniffing my hand, apparently.

He's so quiet in the afternoons, napping, recharging his energy reserves for the evening when he can run around all crazy-like again. He was driving Aaron nuts this morning, so Aaron had to come in and wake me up so he didn't have to deal with the monster cat alone.
Work is still going well. I think I get my own caseload this week, so I won't be getting claims from other co-workers, they will be coming right to me. Kind of a scary thought, but hey, it's all part of the business. I just feel like I still have so many questions, and there are still so many things that I don't know yet. But there's no way most of those things could be covered in training. It's just something you have to learn as you go. But I think I am catching on well and my higher ups are impressed with that, so yay me.
Well, that's about it for me now. Until next weekend, probably!
